City of London

St. Augustine-with-St. Faith, City of London

Only Wren's tower now survives from this church which he rebuilt in the 1680s and the Luftwaffe destroyed in 1941. Being so close to St. Paul's it was designed to deliberately mimic its Dome with the small onion cupola atop its tower - what stands there today is a fibreglass replacement, the original being destroyed during the War.
