Sta. Barbara dei Librai, Rome, Italy

One of the tiniest churches in Rome, Santa Barbara sits, crammed into a blind alleyway not far from the Campo di Fiori, Rome's ancient marketplace.

The church was built for the Guild of Booksellers, hence it's name "dei Librai". Like so many of Rome's churches it is from the Baroque period and is unremarkable save for its tiny size and its position, seemingly squashed into the smallest space possible.
