NEFTERDAR MOSQUE

Nefterdar Mosque, Kos, Greece

One of two mosques in Kos town, this one - the larger of the two - was built late in the 18th Century overlooking Eleftherias Square. It is in a fairly typical Ottoman Balkan style with an arcade and a fine, thin minaret.
