Monaco Cathedral

The Cathedral of St. Nicholas was built on the site of an ancient church in the old town of Monaco-Ville. The current Cathedral was built during the mid-late 19th Century and was consecrated in 1875.

It is very much in the style of neo-Romanesque. It is best known today as the last resting place of those icons of Monaco, Princess Grace and Prince Rainier.
