REVESBY CHURCH

Lincolnshire

Revesby Church, Lincolnshire

The earliest church here was from the Norman period and it may have been related to the nearby Abbey – which is now only a series of earthworks.

This early church was completely rebuilt in the 18th Century and then once again in the late 19th. Although a relatively modern construction, Revesby Church looks very ancient and sits in the heart of an attractive village on the upper edges of the flatlands of southern Lincolnshire.
