Romsey United Reformed Church, Hampshire

Romsey, as a town, is dominated by the Abbey and the United Reformed Church is no exception – it is known as the “Church by the Arch” as it is located and adjoined to the old Abbey Gateway (even though that is largely a Victorian re-construction job).

The church building was attached to the side of the Arch during the Victorian period and today is a member of the Wessex Synod of the United Reformed Church. A pretty little distraction on the walk to the Abbey.
