WHIPSNADE CHURCH

Bedfordshire

Whipsnade Church, Bedfordshire

Whipsnade Church is a simple brick structure, small and almost hidden amongst the scattered houses of Whipsnade village. It dates to 1719 and is designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor, a very unusual country church for the architect to have worked on. The apse was added in 1860.
