Picture Fifty-Three

Wenceslas Square

Andrew standing outside the National Museum at the top of Wenceslas Square, Prague.  Behind him can be seen the equestrian statue of St. Wenceslas looking down the very unsquare Square which bears his name.

It was a weird feeling to be standing somewhere seen so often on the television and Andrew sat up here until the sun sank beneath the buildings.

The day was 25th May 2000 and this is a timer shot.

To read more about Andrew's trip to the Czech Republic, see Travel Pages: Czech Republic.

Other pictures from Andrew's trip to the Czech Republic can be found at Pictures Seven, Sixteen, Nineteen, Thirty-Five, Fifty-Two, Fifty-Nine, Sixty-Five, Seventy-One, Seventy-Two, Seventy-Nine, Eighty-Eight, Ninety-Six, 102, 121, 129, 132 and 140.
