GALLERY 2001 : Picture Twenty-Eight

Glad To Be A Gladiator

Andrew being grabbed by the Gladiators (ooh, painful) outside the Colloseum. A helmet was plonked on his head and the picture was taken before he could even think about it! Of course he was charged for the privilege, but as the photo came out okay he didn't mind too much.

It was 10th December 2001 and he'd been in Rome about two hours. The picture was taken by another "Ancient Roman".

Other photos from Andrew's trip to Rome and the Vatican can be found at Pictures Seven, Twelve, Twenty-five, Thirty-one, Thirty-five, Forty-three, Forty-seven, Fifty-nine, Sixty-two, Sixty-nine, Eighty and Ninety.
