A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum

Andrew in the middle of the Roman Forum in Rome on his first full day in the City. The Forum was just amazing, so much to see, it turned out to be Andrew's favourite part of Rome.

Behind him in this picture you can see the Temple of Saturn, Arch of Septimus Severus and the Curia plus various other bits and pieces.  Also the top of the "Wedding Cake" can be seen and the rear of some of the buildings on the Capitoline Hill.

This is a timer shot, the day was 11th December 2001.

Other photos from Andrew's trip to Rome and the Vatican can be found at Pictures Seven, Twelve, Twenty-five, Twenty-eight, Thirty-one, Thirty-five, Forty-three, Forty-seven, Fifty-nine, Sixty-two, Sixty-nine and Ninety.
