FURNEUX PELHAM CHURCH

Hertfordshire

Furneux Pelham Church, Hertfordshire

Furneux Pelham is a small church dating to the 13th Century. The church and village was always slightly swamped by nearby Brent Pelham, but Furneux managed to keep a resident priest until the 1980s. A weekly service is still held, but it is on a very small scale.

The church is fairly unspectacular, and typical of Hertfordshire, but stands in a pleasant setting.
